‘China supports back-channel talks on West Philippine Sea tension’

Chinese officials have agreed to prioritize backchannel dialogues over public squabbling to de-escalate tensions in the West Philippine Sea, Sen. Erwin Tulfo said yesterday following a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Jing Quan.
