DOJ is investigating fired Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook: Report

(NewsNation) — The U.S. Department of Justice has reportedly opened a criminal investigation into the whether fired Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook submitted fraudulent information on mortgage applications.

Reacting reporting done by the Wall Street Journal, to the attorney Abbe Lowell criticized DOJ for reportedly launching this probe after it fired Cook following allegations of mortgage fraud which she has denied.
