(NewsNation) — Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex crimes trial is starting its sixth week.
Judge Arun Subramanian dismissed juror No. 6 on Monday for what he called "inconsistencies" and will replace the juror with an alternate according to multiple reports.
The prosecution raised the issue last week, citing a lack of candor by the juror, who is a Black man.
The juror was splitting his time between New Jersey and New York but gave inconsistent answers about where he was residing. He said he "recently moved to New Jersey” and that he moved in with his girlfriend. He said the situation “may not be permanent, but this is where I’ve been staying.”
Combs faces federal sex trafficking and racketeering charges. He has pleaded not guilty.
